Dryden Council has decided to launch an operational review of the City’s telephone service.
A Toronto firm will review DMTS and Dryden Mobility at a cost of $70,000.
Mayor Craig Nuttall says they are looking at the entire system.
Nuttall points out that they are reviewing several departments to find cost savings and to ensure they are doing things right.
He adds the review will make sure the proper equipment is in place and that the business is competing the way it should be.
Back in 2007, Council endorsed a plan to retain the utility and create an aggressive growth strategy.
