Confederation College is exploring some partnerships in the region in order to expand programming for it’s students.
College president Jim Madder says they are working with Lakehead University and Seven Generations to offer courses through distance education technology.
Madder suggests they would be able to offer university level business courses for students who have earned the necessary college credits.
He adds they are looking at new hi-tech equipment which makes distance education much more immediate and interactive.
