Concern Over Provincial Boundaries

A Northern Ontario MPP wants to make sure the McGuinty Government doesn’t follow in the footsteps of their Federal counterparts.
The recent Riding changes cut the number of Northern Seats by one.
NDP Member Gilles Bisson introduced the “Representation Amendment Act” last week, because he doesn’t want the Ontario Government to go the same route.
Bisson says Premier McGuinty promised in the throne speech to maintain the Northern representation but notes he has not made his intentions known since that time.
