Police services, Child Care agencies and the Crown Attorney’s Office have signed a revised protocol for dealing with allegations of child abuse.
The agreement includes Dryden, Atikokan and Treaty #3 Police as well as Kenora-Patricia Child and Family Services.
Detective Constable Caren Ashmore says the agreement has been revised and now involves more agencies than before.
Ashmore says it sets out the responsibilities of each agency when dealing with allegations and ensures a consistent response across the board.
