Dryden Council has some concerns with putting fluoride back in the Cities water supply.
Director of Engineering Brad Johns says a big issue is an Engineering report that states the cost of upgrading the Water Treatment Plant could cost $50,000.
Johns says the safety of his staff is a priority and they would need a fully enclosed Fluoride Containment Room.
He says that would cost more than $160,000.
Johns has agreed to work with Dental Consultant Dr Peter Cooney and report back to Council in the future.
