Concession Update

There has been an unexpected turn of events as to who will provide
concession services at the Arena and Sandy Beach Ball Diamonds.
Last month, the City received a bid of $28,000 annually
from Chip Box Owner Chris Shephard.
Council was expected to vote on the tender on Monday night however it was moved from the open forum to the closed meeting because it has
become a legal issue.
City officials say Shephard had asked that his bid be withdrawn.
They add a report will be forthcoming by month’s end.
