High Water Levels on Lac Seul

Lac Seul and English River water levels continue to rise causing some
problems for Tourist Camps and First Nation communities.
The Lake of the Woods Control Board has increased outflows and plans
to reduce the diversion of water from Lake St. Joseph to limit the level
of flow.
Secretariat Rick Walden says there is no risk of flooding at this time.
The level on Lac Seul is more than 1,100 feet, which is well
above average.
