Confederation College is addressing the mining industry
boom in Northwestern Ontario, by offering a new one year
techniques certificate course.
President Pat Lang says so far 15 students have signed
up for the Fall semester, and notes there’s room for a few
more.

Cambrian, Northern and Confederation College joined
forces to create the new course, and form a Federated
School of Mines.
