A fire gutted the Dryden campus of Confederation College today.
Fire crews were called to the scene at 4:45 this morning.
Dryden Deputy Fire Chief Ken Kurz believes the fire began in the attic of the building and spread to the roof which eventually collapsed.
Although the fire has been brought under control, Kurz says the section of Highway 17 in front of the building will likely be closed for much of today.
Traffic is being rerouted through North Dryden.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation and foul play has not been ruled out.
