Winter Storm Not Coming to Northwestern Ontario

Winter has returned to Southern Ontario with a vengeance, dumping up to 15-centimetres of snow and producing freezing rain in much of the region.
The storm has caused delays at airports, slowed traffic to a halt and forced the cancelation of numerous schools.
However, Northwestern Ontario residents can breath a sigh of relief.
Wayne Whitacker of Environment Canada says the system will end in Wawa and Terrace Bay.
However, he says a slow moving system originating from Alberta could dump up to three centimetres of snow on Saturday.
