Confederation College Prepares for Possible Strike

Confederation College hopes a settlement can be reached between
members of OPSEU and the Provincial Government.
Vice-President Reg Jones says although they only employ a handful of
teachers who belong to the union, they still will be forced to cancel all
Regional programs.
In the event of a strike, Confederation College instructors have
agreed to not picket at area campuses because there number is so small.
Jones says students at all Regional campuses will not lose any of their credits.
Representatives from OPSEU and the Provincial Government will continue
to negotiate until Tuesday morning.
