Confusion this morning about a planned power outage.
The orignal power outage for the City of Dryden has been cancelled – mostly.
The City Wide planned outage was first scheduled for 8:30 Sunday, then was delayed until 10:30 before being cancelled outright.
Hydro One says: “…… the planned outage that was initially delayed this morning has now been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. The outage will need to be rescheduled at a later date. Hydro One apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks affected customers for their patience and understanding.”
Meantime, some areas within City Limits and to the East DID lose power. Hydro One says those customers should be restored by 1:00 – 1:30
The original outage would have affected the City of Dryden as well as a large area to the east.
Hydro One says equipment issues caused the cancellation of MOST of the outage and will it will be rescheduled.
