PC candidate and Lac Seul First Nation Chief Clifford Bull is congratulating Sol Mamakwa for his election win in Kiiwetinoong.
The NDP representative won the Thursday vote by a wide margin.
In an e-mail, Bull wished Mamakwa all the best, noting he looks forward to working with him.
Bull says he will be a great spokesman and advocate for their area.
He and Sioux Lookout Mayor Doug Lawrance also shared congratulations on their run, noting they were part of history.
