55 Grade 10 students have left the classroom and hit the trails as
part of the annual Weyerhaeuser Conservation Camp.
For the next 3-days, Dryden youth will learn more about forestry,
minerals, the environment and water.
The Ontario Forestry Association has been involved in the program for
49-years and Executive Director Carla Grant says it’s a chance to promote
the industry.
Participants will study the areas of forests, minerals, water and
wildlife through a combination of workshops and hands on experiences.
