Conservation Course Still Going Strong

Some 36, Grade 10-students are learning more about resource management and conservation concepts this week.
The 53rd Annual Dryden High School Conservation Course is on the go.
Domtar is one of the main sponsors and Bonny Skene says the course provides hands-on and interactive learning.
Skene says the initiative also promotes employment opportunities in our area.
The Ministry of Natural Resources, Public School Board, Northern Development, Fisheries and Oceans, the Ontario Forestry Association and Ontario Power Generation are other major sponsors.
The event wraps up Thursday with a Barbeque and skits from the students.
