Conservative Candidate Ready For Election

Still lots of chatter of a possible fall election campaign in Ontario.
The Conservatives held their policy convention over the weekend in London.
Two resolutions impacting northwestern Ontario were approved at the convention.
One is allowing municipalities in northern Ontario to make decisions on re-establishing the spring bear hunt.
The other is permitting crown funding as a source of financing for ventures.
Kenora-Rainy River Tory candidate Randy Nickle says they’ve been on election alert for a while now.
Nickle stresses that he’s ready to hit the campaign trail.
The NDP and Liberals also have their candidates in place for the next provincial election, with incumbent Sarah Campbell holding the New Democratic banner and Anthony Leek ready to run again for the Grits.
