This is National Forestry Week and CKDR News will be featuring the industry and its impact on local residents all week long.

Skene it also gives the public a chance to recognize the sector and its role on the local economy and our daily lives.
One of the activities planned this week is a “pulp art” contest, where you are encouraged to visit the Dryden Mill and pick up a sheet of pulp and create an artistic masterpiece.
Domtar Spokesperson Bonny Skene explains the purpose behind the campaign.
Prizes will be handed out in different age categories.
