Conservative MPP Tim Hudak feels Northern Ontario’s concerns should be
put front and centre in the next Provincial election.
The opposition critic for finance toured the Region this week and Hudak
says the McGuinty Liberals haven’t been doing enough for the North.
Hudak says a cheaper electricity rate is needed for the forest sector
and notes he doesn’t see why the Liberals haven’t acted on the pleas of
Northerners.
He adds his party in the last election suggested deeming the region
as an economic development zone, but was unsucessful.
