Ontario’s Conservatives are asking the speaker to find Hydro One in contempt of the legislature.
MPP Steve Clark made the motion saying the Ombudsman’s report makes it clear that Hydro executives tried to mislead Ministry of Energy officials.
Clark says while Hydro One may not have directly mislead MPP’s, they provided inaccurate information to the Minister of Energy.
The speaker has reserved decision on the issue and is expected to make a ruling later in the week.
