Conservatives Double Children’s Fitness Tax Credit

The federal Conservatives are trumpeting their latest tax break for families.
They have doubled the Children’s Fitness Tax Credit to $1,000 and it’s eligible for this tax year.
Speaking to our newsroom, Durham MP Erin O’Toole says the move fulfills a government promise.
Political observers say the increase may hint at a balanced budget next year since the promise was made on that condition.
