Red Lake’s Pete McLeod hit the jackpot in Las Vegas on the weekend.
McLeod won his first race in the Red Bull Air Race Championship series.
The actual race was scrapped due to heavy winds, however McLeod was declared the winner because of his top times in qualifying.
He has won four of seven Qualifying sessions this season.
McLeod is now 4th in the championship standings.
