The Northwestern Ontario Student Services Consortium is ready for a new school year.
The Consortium warns there is still a lot of construction in most communities and this may have an impact on bus schedules.
Officials say if you haven’t heard from them over the summer, there is no changes to routes and service.
Those in Sioux Lookout and Hudson have already been notified of their changes.
Officials add they won’t be entertaining parents temporary requests for a new bus stop or route extension until after October 15th.
Temporary changes are parents looking to change their existing arrangements for a short period of time of 5 days or more.
For parents asking for a new bus stop or a route extension, they won’t be able to assess them until the system is safely up and running, so likely not until the third week of school.
Parents are asked to have their children out at their designated stop at least 10-minutes before the scheduled time until things get back to normal.
