The Northwest District Catholic School Board will have a full agenda this year as a new school year has arrived.
The Board will be concentrating on student achievement, engagement with parents as well as faith based programming.
Director of Education Rick Boisvert says they are just happy to be back in the classroom.
Student and staff well being and responsible stewardship are other priorities.
Boisvert adds they are also looking at increasing parent engagement and building connections between home schooling and the parish.
Boisvert says all issues were outlined in their recent strategic plan.
He notes no major changes have been done to schools with enrolment expected to remain stable.
