It was another good year for building activity in Dryden.
Despite the downsizing at Weyerhaeuser, 95 building permits were issued last year totaling $17.5 million, above the average for the past 10 years.
City Manager Arie Hoogenboom says the future bodes well thanks to some big projects.
That includes the 32-bed expansion at Princess Court and Construction of the new Fire Hall.
The numbers were well of the record $49 million in building permits issued in 2002.
