Construction on Berens River Bridge to begin soon

A significant milestone in the creation of year-round access to the Pikangikum First Nation.

A ground-breaking ceremony for the Berens River Bridge will take place on June 3rd.

In addition to federal and provincial officials, a number of First Nations will also be represented, along with industry partners.

The bridge will not only provide access to Pikangikum but also lays the foundation for additional all-season road development to other remote First Nations.
