The Ontario Hospital Association and the Provincial Nurses Union will
be heading to arbitration in August after failing to secure a new
collective agreement.
Union President Linda Haslam-Stroud says contract talks broke off
because the OHA insisted the nurses accept concessions to their sick days.
The Union represents 45,000 hospital nurses across the province.
