Coal Plant Confusion

There seems to be some confusion over the delay to close Ontario’s coal
fired power plants.
Thunder Bay-Rainy River MPP Bill Mauro has contacted Atikokan Mayor
Dennis Brown regarding a news report that the Atikokan and Thunder Bay
stations would close next year, while the Southern Ontario plants would stay
open for an unknown amount of time.
Mauro says the comment about Northern Ontario was added by reporters
and he fully expects the Atikokan and Lakehead plants to remain open the
same amount of time as the Southern ones.
