Contract With Teaching Assistants Rejected

CUPE is asking Lakehead University in Thunder Bay to return to the
bargaining table after the Union rejected the School’s final contract offer
for 300-teaching assistants.
The Union says the University’s latest wage offer is the lowest of any
University in Ontario.
Wages, increased workload and job security are the issues of
contention.
