The Dryden GM Ice Dogs ran into a hot goalie Friday night as the Thunder Bay North Stars won their ninth in a row.
Riley Corbin made 53-saves as the Stars upended Dryden GM 4-2.
Kent Walchuk scored both Ice Dogs goals.
Thunder Bay is now six points back of the second place if Dogs.
The rematch is Saturday night at 6:30 in Thunder Bay.
