Cottage Lot Development Discussed at KDMA

The President of the Kenora District Municipal Association says area
communities are behind a push to have the province free-up Crown Land for
cottage lot development.
The issue was a hot topic at the KDMA Conference in Sioux Lookout on
the weekend.
Gary Parkes says most communities are trying to acquire Crown Land
but are running into stumbling blocks.
A number of resolutions dealing with climate change, the economy and
the forest industry were approved at the conference.
