The final loose ends that need to be tied up are taking place regarding the new Aboriginal Housing Complex in Dryden.
Construction is expected to begin shortly behind the old Weyerhaeuser Training Centre.
A permit has been issued for the renovations of the existing building.
Site preparation with the Ontario Aboriginal Housing Corporation is expected to begin shortly and once the plan is finalized a building permit will be issued.
Dryden Council approved a landscaping plan Monday night.
That includes replacing trees that will have to be chopped down for construction.
The addition of shrubs and flower beds is another condition.
