The town will begin the process of filling a vacant spot after Councillor Tanis Drysdale submitted a letter of resignation.
C.A.O. Mark McCaig said the town has had to replace a councillor recently, and they will begin next week to look at options…

McCaig said at the next meeting the council will declare Drysdale’s seat vacant, and then they will proceed with filling the spot.
The CAO added that there is no real time frame to fill the vacant councillor’s spot, but they do have to declare it vacant at their next meeting.
