Counterfeit Money Leads to Arrest

An investigation by Ear Falls OPP into a suspected counterfeit money case turned up more than officers expected.

They pulled over a vehicle with Manitoba plates as the occupants were believed to have passed funny money at a Vermilion Bay business.

A search revealed about $2,000 worth of pot, bogus bills, a prohibited weapon and a quantity of cash.

One adult and 3 teens from Manitoba face several charges as a result.
