Money For Sioux Lookout School

Sioux Mountain School has received $165,000 to upgrade Early Literacy programs.
The facility is one of 43 Ontario Schools getting extra funding to run a program for students who need extra help.
Principal Michael Boos says the initiatives in place are geared towards improving the reading skills of students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 3.
Boos says the money will be spent on purchasing additional reading material and on professional development for teachers.
