FedNor Funding to Remain Flowing

Despite concerns on Parliament Hill about how public money is spent, agencies like FedNor are expecting more funding in the months ahead for Community Future programs.
Regional Manager Rob Stinchcombe says the work done by local Economic Development Agencies is highly respected in Ottawa and he believes more money will be flowing in the coming year.
Stinchcombe admits some funding has dried up but says the base for FedNor remains stable.
He adds that some of the priorities for FedNor in the next few years is developing the eco-tourism industry in this region and focusing on value-added wood products.
