Stars Drop Opener

Not the start the Kenora Stars were hoping for at the National Midget Hockey Championships.

The host team dropped their opening game of the Tournament 5-1 to the Toronto Marlboros last night.

Kenora went 1-9 on the powerplay.

Sioux Lookout’s Tyler Gordon made 25 saves in a losing cause.

The Stars hope to rebound as they take on P.E.I.’s Cornwall Thunder tonight.
