Court Appearance for Accused in Major Drug Bust

A British Columbia man appeared for a bail hearing in Thunder Bay today in connection with one of the biggest drug busts ever in Northwestern Ontario.
His name has not been released.
A search of a vehicle on Sunday turned up more than 110 kilograms of marijuana, 17 kilos of cocaine and two other substances that have been sent to Winnipeg for analysis.
The drugs were discovered when police searched a van that had been stopped for speeding through Longlac.
