The wait is finally over in Terrace Bay.
A court has given permission to a company from India to take over Terrace Bay Pulp.
Mayor Mike King says he’s greatly relieved that the process is complete.
King says this will finally put an end to a tumultuous couple of years.
King says a strong and reputable company is taking over.
The company plans to convert the mill to make rayon.
King notes this will revilatalize the Mill and the community of 1,600.
He hopes to have the mill reopen in October.
