University of Toronto Professor Jen Gommerman says the effectiveness of having three doses of vaccines, especially with the Omicron variant, has been a key discovery.
She says the government also put new research networks she hopes stay in place.
Dr. Ross Upshur, the Head of Clinical Public Health at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health in Toronto, says it also revealed our ability to respond.
