CP Holiday Train Set To Embark On Cross-Country Tour

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will be rolling into northwestern Ontario shortly.

The festive locomotive kick-starts its tour this weekend, and will arrive in Ignace, Dryden and Vermilion Bay on December 2nd.

Spokesperson Mallory McCredie says the Holiday Train helps raise money and collects canned goods for local food banks.

McCredie says performers this year include Colin James and Emma-Lee.

She says since 1999, the campaign has raised more than $13-million and 4-million pounds of food.

McCredie adds all donations stay in area communities.
