Crackdown On Drug Trafficking Continues In Far North

For the second time in less than a week, Nishnawbe Aski Police have seized a large quantity of drugs in the remote northern community of Fort Albany.

Officers located more than 1,500 Methamphetamine pills and 282-Oxycodone pills.

The street value of the drugs is more than $42,000.

Police say 29-year-old Alex Stephen of Fort Albany faces two charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
