Someone is driving around with a lot of damage to their vehicle today.
Police say a Ford Escort parked outside their headquarters between 8:45 & 9:15 last nite was hit in the rear, the impact hard enough that it blew out both the passanger & rear windows!
It appears the offending vehicle, possibly a red truck or SUV then backed up to leave & hit a parking meter & a tree.
Needless to say, damage is extensive to both vehicles.
Just before 9 last nite a driver lost control in the underpass & slid into the path of an oncomming vehicle.
That mishap is blamed on icy conditions.
