Normally it would be odd to see an educator parading around school
grounds with a goat, but Friday it seemed quite normal.
Riverview School Principal Suzanne Bastable teamed up with ‘Maggie the
Goat’, after her students met a challenge to raise a thousand dollars.
Bastable says it was for a great cause.
n064 runs: 20 sec. out…wacky challenges.
Other crazy acts at Riverview, teachers have had ice water as well as
syrup and feathers dumped on their heads, another instructor shaved his head
and one teacher dressed up in a giant lion costume for a day.
In all, Riverview students raised well over $5,000 for
cancer research.
Elsewhere, staff at Pinewood kissed fish and took pies in the face,
while the Principal at New Prospect was duct taped to the gym wall.
