A new company set up by the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is expected to make money in its first year of operation.
The Cresive Corporation was established to market some of the educational and technical expertise the School Board has developed in recent years.
Trustee Ed Arnold says they didn’t expect to turn a profit so quickly and feels the new company is paying dividends for the School Board already.
