Cresive Dissolving

Crescive Corporation will cease to exist as of December 31st.
The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board will assume the operation of the region’s wireless network as well as the Dryden Regional Training and Cultural Centre.
Crescive Board Chair Barb Hancock says despite showing profits year after year, they could not continue into 2008.
The School Board cancelled several contracts with Crescive including Adult Education and Hancock says without significant committment from key partners, the Corporation couldn’t continue to operate.
Crescive is projecting a year end profit of $250,000.
The end of the Corporation will result in 8 job losses.
