Another environmental group is targeting Abitibi-Consolidated on its logging practices in Ontario.
Greenpeace held a protest this week at Abitibi’s corporate
head office in Montreal.
Greenpeace spokesperson Kristy Ferguson says they are concerned about the way Abitibi uses its timber rights.

Abitibi currently has the cutting rights to the Whiskey Jack forest north of Kenora, but the province is expected to allocate the sustainable forest licence to another group later this summer.
