Cresive to Promote Skilled Trades Field

A new campaign has been launched to help area youth explore the skilled
trades field.
The Cresive Corporation will be hosting Public Forums across the
Region starting January 21st to generate interest in skilled trades and
technology.
Special Projects Coordinator Vicki Scherban says there is a definite
need for the program.
Scherban says 17% of area High School students drop-out prior to
graduation and she believes more attention needs to be put on
non-traditional trades.
She adds Cresive is trying to encourage more local businesses to
help provide work experience for area youth.
