ID Requested at Border Crossings

Make sure you have your picture ID handy when you pull up to a
Canada Customs window.
Customs Spokesperson Greg Mercure says officers have been given a new
directive at the 3-border crossings in Northwestern Ontario.
Mercure notes officers may especially be asking for identification from
area residents who may not cross the border very often.
He warns officers are prepared to turn away anyone, until proper ID
can be provided.
