School Board Facing $2 Million Surplus

Students in the Rainy River School District are expected to benefit
the most from a $2 million surplus.
The Board has approved the audited financial statements from the
2003-2004 school year.
Trustee Ron McAlister says the reinvestment of money will breath new
life into existing programs and create new initiatives for students.
The money will also go towards school maintenance and the purchase of
additional computer software and textbooks.
