The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board says its meeting
guidelines set out by the Ministry of Education on junk food in
Elementary Schools.
Superintendent of Education Wendy Parkin says the Board hasn’t had
any trouble complying with the new guidelines.
Parkin says 7 Schools carried “unhealthy” items but notes the sugary
sweets were quickly replaced with juice and other healthy food products.
